Chapter FiveHige was still looking me straight in the eye. The shock was just sinking in. I smiled weakly and he returned it with one of his smirks. It made me giggle a little. A young tan wolf came out of the trees. He was drenched with rain and looked devastated. Hige’s gaze turned to him. “What does Saske want?” He asked. I ran to the shoreline and knelt in front of Saske. “Leo is hurt. I don’t think he’s gonna make it.” Saske cried. He turned human and I pulled him into an embrace. I could feel his tears on my shoulder. They were warm unlike the rain. “What do you mean, Leo’s hurt.” Hige knelt down beside me and laid a hand on Saske‘s shoChapter Five
Chapter FourMy alarm clock blared and I got up for breakfast. I was still wearing my mother’s clothing. “So it wasn’t a dream.” I mumbled. I got ready for school and headed out the door. “Hold it right there Satomi. Where in heavens name did you go last night?” My mother asked. That’s exactly right, heaven. “I don’t really know.” I replied and sped out the door and ran down the path. A large grey wolf growled from the trees and I silently slipped off of the path. “What do you want, Hige?” I asked. “You seemed in a daze yesterday. Are you alright now?” He sounded the least bit concerned. “I’m just fine.” I said and walked away. I noticed out of the cornerChapter Four
Chapter ThreeI stood up and looked around. “What happened?” I asked. “That is one of your powers, you wanted to come here so you came.” Hige explained. Far away a man spoke “The royals have returned.” he exclaimed. “Noble the royals are dead and you know that.” A woman said. “You are wrong there. The king of the sun and the lunar and solar princesses are still alive.” The noble replied. A young girl flew off in the direction of the Lunar Princess. “Kohana come back.” The woman yelled but the child continued in the direction of the princess. I took a step forward and started walking towards a large building. Hige turned into a wolfChapter Three
Chapter TwoThe next day at school I was still a bit shaky from my encounter with Hige yesterday. I glanced over to where the Rat pack hung out but they weren’t over there. I sighed and entered the school. I noticed that I was being stared at by a lot of people so I rushed into the girls restroom. There I met my enemy of a lifetime, Haley and her annoying possy, Eri, Ayame, and Kikyo. “Well girls, look what the cat dragged in.” Haley said to her possy. “So what was it lypo or botox?” Haley added. Almost on cue Eri, Ayame, and Kikyo laughed. “Neither, but did your cosmetic surgeon screw up on you? Cause you just look like crap.” I smirked and walked out oChapter Two
